PM praises blind footballer

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen praised the country’s blind football players for their impressive performance.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the University of Geography and Economics on the morning of June 5, the PM said, "It’s so admirable how they are able to locate the ball and score.”

Cambodia is currently hosting the ASEAN Para Games from June 3-9. The country has so far garnered two gold medals from women’s wheelchair basketball and women’s long jump. Indonesia has rallied for first place with 35 gold medals and Vietnam trailing behind with 21.
